Not one of the famous bridges - there are enough pictures of them. This picture sums up the real Venice for me. The slightly subsiding buildings with their fringe of green weed. The washing and the flowerboxes at the windows and the muted pastel colours. The mother (or is it grandmother?) is going home for lunch with her supermaket bag, oblivious of the communist emblem fading up there on the wall.
