Typically Bavarian, with its onion dome atop the tower, this little chapel sits peacefully snuggled in the foothills of the Alps. The picture is divided diagonally by the skyline, but the eye is led up to the main subject by the converging lines of the foreground. The fact that the picture was taken in winter avoids the masking of the outline by the trees.
